MORRIS & CO WANDLE CUSHION COVER in Indigo & Carmine Colourway.
A part of the Morris Archive IV collection, Wandle was first produced in 1884. The fabric features a striped meandering diagonal branch from which various flowers emanate. The original printed design was achieved by a combination of indigo discharge and block printing and existed as either a two colour or multi-coloured version, which would have needed 32 blocks.
The cushion covers are backed in Dark Cream linen with a concealed zip on the bottom seam.
This elegant and vintage design is is printed on soft cotton and would make a wonderful addition to any home.
